Every time there is a question in a Dezide Guide, there is an opportunity to answer the question automatically saving the user precious time from having to provide the answer manually. Every automatically answered question is never displayed to the user – it all happens in the background with no user interaction, saving incredible amounts of time in call centers and in the field on-site for service engineers. In case the answer cannot be obtained automatically the question is displayed to the user making sure the troubleshooting process continues smoothly. Automatically answered questions ensures a high degree of precision taking manual evaluation of e.g complex data out of the process.
Data Collectors are small programs that are executed from within a Dezide Guide to obtain the data used to answer a question and the collectors can be build and maintained by clients with in-house development resources or by Dezide on request – Dezide provides all the necessary programming API’s and documentation.
Between the data collectors and the guides lies the data interpretation layer. This layer is where the translation from raw data to guide answers takes place. Voltage readings, environmental readings, CRM information and any other data source is translated into human understandable terms like “perfect throughput” and “bad weather”. All configured by the client in the Data Collection Configuration panel.
